What Atlanta Homeowners Say About Alcott Chimney Atlanta
Reviews tell you what actually happens when the truck pulls up, not what a brochure promises. We’ve spent over two decades in Atlanta learning that trust gets earned one chimney at a time. The comments below come from homeowners who let us into their homes, watched the work, and then took the time to write it down. Most of them mention the same things we hear on job sites: the written price before work starts, the name-and-photo technician preview, and a fireplace that’s safe to light again.
Recent Reviews
“I’d just bought a 1940s bungalow in Grant Park and the fireplace hadn’t been touched in years. The technician showed me the creosote buildup on his camera screen before anything else, explained exactly what he was seeing, and gave me a written price that matched the final bill to the dollar. Fireplace works beautifully now.”
Sanjay S., Grant Park, Atlanta
“Got the text with the technician’s name and photo before he arrived, which my wife really appreciated. He checked the chimney, swept it clean, and pointed out a cracked flue tile we never would’ve caught on our own. Didn’t push us into anything, just showed us the photos and gave us options.”
Eric D., Brookhaven, Atlanta
“We use our fireplace every winter and the smell had been getting worse. Alcott came out, swept the chimney, removed what looked like years of glazed creosote, and the smoke draft improved immediately. They recommended a second sweep next year before burning season, not a bunch of upsells.”
Malik I., East Atlanta
“The previous company told me I needed a new liner, quoted me over four grand, and left without showing me any proof. Alcott sent a camera down the flue, showed me the actual footage, and said the liner was fine. That honesty alone is why I’ll keep calling them.”
Eric G., Decatur, Atlanta
“Chimney inspection came back clean, but they noticed the chimney cap was rusted through. Gave me a written quote for a replacement, came back three days later, and installed it in under an hour. Every person I dealt with was background-checked and showed their ID badge at the door.”
Sanjay S., Midtown Atlanta
“Our gas fireplace had been acting up for months, and two other companies told us they don’t work on them. Alcott diagnosed a faulty thermocouple, had the part in the truck, and repaired it same day. The written guarantee on the repair was included without me having to ask.”
Malik I., Virginia-Highland, Atlanta
